Taralune

taralunescreen

Taralune has a trio of moths that are tough to nail down.

Synopsis: If you can control the moths by taking away their flying bonus quickly, this fight is not too difficult.  Get them under half-heath quickly!

Goal: To defeat the tamer with 2 pets so that a third pet can be carried through for maximum experience gain.

Taralune’s Team

Serendipity with ma16 Feedback,  Cocoon Strike, and ma16 Counterspell
Grace with  Slicing Wind,  Call Lightning, and  Moth Dust
Atonement with  Alpha Strike, ma16 Nimbus, and  Moth Balls

Your Team

Carry Pet
 Emerald Proto-Whelp – ma16 Emerald Bite,  Emerald Presence,  Proto-Strike
Emerald Whelpling – ma16 Emerald Bite,  Emerald Presence,  Emerald Dream

Use your Carry Pet first (must have 200 health or more) and use any ability that you like.  You’ll immediately be stunned and you can sub in your Emerald Proto-Whelp right after.  Use Proto-Strike right away to avoid all the hits that Serendipity has in store for you.  Use Emerald Bite only once, and then Emerald Presence twice.  Finish Serendipity off with an Emerald Bite and you’ll have your dragonkin bonus ready for the next pet, Grace.  Use Emerald Bite twice to chew through Grace’s health.  Atonement will come in and lift-off with Proto-Strike immediately.  Unless you get pretty lucky, your Proto-Whelp is all done now.  Bring your Emerald Whelpling in and a couple of Emerald Bites finishes off the fight.

Obalis

obalisObalis’ Team:

  • Pyth – Vicious Fang, Poison Fang, Counterstrike
  • Spring – Slicing Wind, Cocoon Strike, Moth Dust
  • Clatter- Hiss, Flank, Apocalypse

Goal: Defeat tamer with two level 25 pets and one low level pet for maximum pet experience

Your Team:

Open with the Darkmoon Tonk and cast Minefield, Missile (if it misses, cast this again) and then Ion Cannon.  This will finish off Pyth and almost half of Spring’s health.  Bring your level pet in and take a hit and then swap it back out.  Swap in your Emerald Whelpling and use Emerald Presence and finish off Spring with Emerald Bite.  If the timing is bad on Spring’s Cocoon Strike, feel free to heal up with Emerald Dream before you finish him with Emerald Bite.  Make sure to keep Emerald Presence up when Clatter comes in, and finish him with Emerald Bite as well.

Burning Pandaren Spirit

firespiritGoal: Defeat tamer with two level 25 pets and one low level pet for maximum pet experience

Burning Pandaren Spirit’s Team:

  • Crimson – Breath, Cyclone, Lift-Off
  • Pandaren Fire Spirit – Conflagrate, Immolate, Cauterize
  • Glowy – Swarm, Confusing Sting, Glowing Toxin

Your Team:

Start with Idol and cast Crush, Stoneskin, Deflection to block Lift-Off.  Continue Crush-ing until Crimson dies. Use Deflection to block Conflagrate, Stoenskin one round before Immolate, and Crush on all other turns and the Fire Spirit will die easily.  When Glowy is in, use Deflection to block Glowing Toxin and keep Stoneskin up to block everything else. Swap in and out your leveling pet right after using Stoneskin and finish Glowy with the Idol.  The Emerald Whelpling is just for show.
