Dr. Ion Goldbloom: Plushie Round

Synopsis: As long as you’re able to finish off Chaos quickly, he won’t cause you much trouble.  Trike’s the only other pet that hits hard at all.

Goal: To defeat the tamer with 2 pets so that Elekk Plushie can be carried through the fight.

Dr. Ion Goldbloom’s Team

Screamer with  Alpha Strike,   Feign Death, and  Lift-Off
Trike with  Bite,   Adrenaline Rush, and   Horn Attack
ma16
Chaos with  Logicma16 Uncertainty, and   Instability

Your Team

Bronze Whelpling  –  Tail Sweep,  Early Advantage, ma16 Arcane Storm
Darkmoon Tonk –  Missile,  Minefield,  Ion Cannon
ma16 Elekk Plushie

Bronze Whelpling starts off the fight and passes his first turn.  Use Early Advantage and Arcane Storm.  Screamer will be under half health and he’ll swap out, so swap out to the Darkmoon Tonk and lay down an immediate Minefield.  Hit Missile twice, and then finish off Trike with an Ion Cannon.  You’ll get hit with Screamer’s Lift-Off, but after that lay your minefield down right after.  Bring your Bronze Whelpling back in, and since you’re faster, pop Arcane Storm again to finish Screamer.  Use Early Advantage and Chaos should die.  If not, you should have enough health to finish him with a Tail Sweep.

Goz Banefury

gozscreenOut in the Twilight Highlands is an angry orc with some creepy pets.  I’ve solo’d the fight many times with an Emperor Crab, but that gets to be a bit slow.  With my favorite elemental eater Snarly in tow, the fight goes much faster.

Synopsis: Twilight has an annoying ability Dark Rebirth that brings him back from the dead is he gets to cast it.  This causes you to take extra damage before his flame is actually put out.  Snarly hits hard enough to take care of that.  Combine him with a mechanical pet for Helios and the fight becomes fairly easy.

Goal: To defeat the tamer with 2 pets so that a third pet can be carried through for maximum experience gain.

Goz Banefury’s Team

el16 Twilight with el16 Darkflame Laser, and  el16 Dark Rebirth

Amythel with  Creepy Chomp,   Adrenal Glands, and aq16 Creeping Ooze
be16
Helios with  Leech Life,  be16 Brittle Webbing, and  be16 Spiderling Swarm

 Your Team

aq16 Snarly  Rip, aq16 Surge, aq16 Blood in the Water
Carry Pet
 Darkmoon Tonk  –
Charge,  Shock and Awe,  Ion Cannon

Start with Snarly and use Rip then use Blood in the Water.  Surge once to finish Twilight off before he casts his Dark Rebirth.  Amythel is a bit of a crap shoot with damage, so just use Rip to begin, Blood in the Water when it’s up, and Surge as filler.  Amythel may or may not be dead by this point, but your Tonk can easily finish the task with Charge.  Make sure you swap your carry pet in right after Snarly dies, and then swap to Darkmoon Tonk right after.  When Helios comes in use Shock and Awe once and then blast him with your Ion Cannon.

Obalis

obalisObalis’ Team:

  • Pyth – Vicious Fang, Poison Fang, Counterstrike
  • Spring – Slicing Wind, Cocoon Strike, Moth Dust
  • Clatter- Hiss, Flank, Apocalypse

Goal: Defeat tamer with two level 25 pets and one low level pet for maximum pet experience

Your Team:

Open with the Darkmoon Tonk and cast Minefield, Missile (if it misses, cast this again) and then Ion Cannon.  This will finish off Pyth and almost half of Spring’s health.  Bring your level pet in and take a hit and then swap it back out.  Swap in your Emerald Whelpling and use Emerald Presence and finish off Spring with Emerald Bite.  If the timing is bad on Spring’s Cocoon Strike, feel free to heal up with Emerald Dream before you finish him with Emerald Bite.  Make sure to keep Emerald Presence up when Clatter comes in, and finish him with Emerald Bite as well.
